Nice large suites, perfect for our family of 4. The room had a stale, lived-in smell to it. The pool wasn't very warm and is shallow--great for young kids. Breakfast was decent but not a lot of variety. Overall, it was fine for the one night we stayed.

Hilton just doesn’t care

Don’t expect the modern convenience of smart televisions! Silly me didn’t think twice about a hotel in the year 2024 not having a smart tv. Unfortunate because I am staying 18 days here to take care of a family member that just had surgery and we are room bound. And do expect to be gaslit by front desk. When I called Hilton Customer care they told me I had a premier room ( I would hope so I have. 2 bedroom suite one king and one queen with kitchen). Yet front desk told me that I don’t have a premier room and that is why I don’t t have smart televisions. Well that’s one story they told me. The first story was that one was going to be installed but they didn’t know the maintenance’s timeline on when that would occur. Hilton Customer Care said when they called the front desk they said they would get me firestick due to my room having no smart televisions. I won’t hold my breath on that promise. And yes the kitchen is so small one cannot open the dishwasher all the way because the fridge is in the way. Easier to wash dishes by hand. And do expect to be ignored by the general manager onsite. Voicemails and emails were not returned. Staying 18 days and paying a pretty penny for this type of service is no bueno. If planning on a long stay I do not recommend this place. They really don’t care.

I stayed at this hotel before the pandemic. I had a business trip to this area and stayed at this hotel for 4 days in January 2024. The hotel was not very clean. There was no access to the pool. The front desk staff were not so friendly at check-in, during stay, and check-out. The house keeping staff were very helpful. The breakfast was not good. The water system did not work from 10 am to 6:30 pm on of the days that I stayed. All hotel guests must go to the Doubletree on the north side to use the bathroom.

Impeccable location overshadowed by atrocious service

The definite best feature of this hotel is its location. As far as possible from the airport, so you to do not hear the plains (5-7 min drive or so), but still with a hotel shuttle to get you to your flight, and also just 25 minutes from downtown. It is really located perfectly! Unfortunately everything else is mostly disappointing. --The rooms are quite small. They are are actually SO small that, in the kitchen, the dishwasher does not have space to be open more than 2/3 of the way, because the door hits the opposite wall! Loading and unloading the dishwasher becomes a true struggle! Ridiculous arrangement! Moreover, When it says "bay view", it is really a very far and the water is barely seen. --The sofa mattress is old, worn out, and one can feel all the bars of the support frame through it when sleeping. --The breakfast is worse than in a 2-start motel--ridiculously small tasteless selections , with paper plates. Breakfast was one of the key reason we chose the place, but we never used it in 4 nights we were there--there was just nothing there! --The most disappointing part of our experience however was customer service. The night shift lady who was checking us in never once smiled, could not care less about our elite status or the upgrade request we made in advance. Furthermore, the next night, when at 5am our diabetic son urgently needed some juice or fruit to boost his dropping blood sugar, she and the breakfast attendant (who was getting ready for the breakfast starting soon) refused to give me anything from that breakfast until it opens insisting that I buy from marketplace. When I ignorantly took yogurt or fruit from that breakfast setup they actually yelled at me. When we were checking out, a different attendant helped us, but still no smile was ever shared and everything was very "matter-of-factly" done. I strongly doubt I will ever stay here again, because I am pretty sure I can find a different hotel with nearly as great location, where I will actually be valued as client.

South San Francisco - in a business area - about 25 mins from downtown depending on the day - basic breakfast - paper plates and plastic cutlery - needs an upgrade - chairs in the breakfast area pretty dirty - no plates or utensils in the room - pans only - pretty weird if you wanted to eat in the “suite” - staff friendly - seems to be enough parking
